Of course, we could not have done it without the amazing people we have met along the way, all the team down at the Blue Lion, for all of their incredible work and support; Julie, for holding the fitsteps class; Life for a kid, for stepping in to give us some more publicity and fund Adam's wheelchair. I never thought we would do so much.
Adam's condition is increasing rapidly and we are hoping that we will be able to pass his equipment on to other children like Adam, when he grows out of them or, hopefully, no longer needs them. Adam is managing to walk longer distances, now only relying on his wheelchair in "emergencies". This is partly based on his recent move to secondary school, in which he has coped incredibly well with.
